Some users may need to change their phone’s permissions to allow the foursquare app to properly connect to the internet. If you are having issues signing into foursquare, etc. you can change your app permissions as follows:

- Scroll through the list to find the “FourSquare” app

- Start up foursquare!

Q: How come my location isn’t always accurate?

A: The foursquare app for BlackBerry tries to locate you using GPS. If this doesn’t work, we fall back to the location of your closest cell tower. In urban areas cell tower location is pretty accurate and less accurate in more rural areas. Of course, if the app doesn’t list our current location as the closest one, you can always search for it.
