Currently supports Google and Bing translation engines with Text to Speech pronunciation and Speech recognition. Supports over 60 languages for translation and over 50 for pronunciation. Understands speech of 14 languages.

It has special dictionary mode and providers transliteration for non latin languages. It automatically checks spelling and also support transliterated input. You can type in any language without need to install keyboard input support.

Touch friendly and clean design and full BlackBerry® integration included. Translate selected text from any app in one click! Support of most major BlackBerry® devices (OS 5.0+) including latest OS 7.0 compatibility.

FancyTran allows user to control connection transport settings to save on data traffic in roaming during travelling.

New features so far (build 2.2.2):

• Fixed "Translate with FancyTran" menu to work for selected text in browser and html email.
• New "Show It" feature to view images on requested word quickly.
• Removed "Personal Data" permissions request 
• Recording permissions are now requested when speech to text feature is first used
• High DPI font (samller) for Google Dictionary on latest OS7 devices (Bold, Torch)
• New Icon
• New Ads module (to remove that personal data dependency)
• When sending text from FancyTran to other apps, removed line with language direction info, only text is sent. Added this as an option in Settings.
• Updated support links in Settings to point to this new support web site
• Speech to text is now recorded as 1/2 sec minimum, any random button clicks are ignored, to avoid unneeded speech server requests.
• Added BB System title bar with notifications, connection, battery (OS6+) 
• Application blue top titlebar is now optional in Pro edition.
