Research in Motion Ltd., maker of the devices, said it had about 32 million global BlackBerry subscribers as of the end of August 2009

The BlackBerry Bold 9700 smartphone offers top-of-the-line performance, functionality and features with support for 3G HSDPA networks around the world, a next-generation (624 MHz) processor, 256 MB Flash memory, built-in GPS and Wi-Fi®, a 3.2MP camera and a sharp, dazzling display. Cutting edge engineering and premium finishes extend to the exterior of the handset as well, with a smoothly integrated touch-sensitive trackpad and a highly tactile, distinctive, fretted keyboard. Blackberry RIM Service Center

Banyak BBM messages telah menyebar mengenai service center BlackBerry di Jakarta Indonesia, namum fasilitas service center itu adalah untuk reparasi dan tidak melayani pelanggan langsung. Pelanggan Blackberry harus ke service center RIM yang dibuka dengan service provider.

Blackberry RIM: Setelah mengumumkan pembukaan satu fasilitas reparasi dan 10 gerai customer care akhir Agustus lalu, Research In Motion (RIM) akan menambah lima lagi gerai customer care lain. Kali ini, mereka akan bekerjasama dengan authorized distributor, yaitu PT Indosat Tbk.

“Kini ada satu fasilitas reparasi BlackBerry dan 15 BlackBerry Authorized Customer Care Centers di Indonesia,” ujar Regional Vice President RIM Asia Pacific, Gregory Wade.

Gerai customer care BlackBerry Indosat bakal berada di Jakarta sebanyak empat gerai, dan satu di Bandung. Di Jakarta akan berlokasi di Galeri Indosat KPPTI, Artha Graha, Pondok Indah, dan Sarinah. Sementara satu lagi di Istana Plaza Bandung.

Sebelumnya, layanan pelanggan tersebut tersebar di tujuh gerai milik tiga operator distributor Blackberry yaitu Telkomsel, XL, dan Axis.

Gerai Blackberry Telkomsel atau Malifax ada di Graha Aktiva dan Senayan City;

Gerai Blackberry XL atau Erajaya di Pacific Place, Lippo Karawaci, dan di daerah Sawah Besar serta satu lagi di XL Experience Surabaya.

Sementara customer care BlackBerry Axis ada di Mal Ambassador, ITC Roxy Mas, BEC-Bandung, dan WTC Surabaya.

Gerai bernama resmi Authorized Customer Care Centers tersebut bakal memberikan layanan purna jual khususnya menyangkut servis dan reparasi, dan akan berhubungan langsung dengan fasilitas reparasi BlackBerry di Sunter.

Meski tak bersedia memberi penjelasan terkait dana investasi, Greg meyakini bisnisnya di Indonesia bakal terus berkembang. “Di seluruh dunia sudah ada 28,8 juta pengguna BlackBerry,” ujarnya, tanpa bersedia merinci jumlah pengguna di Indonesia. (Nadia Citra Surya/Kontan)
