ShrinkIt Shrink or Resize Pictures for Blackberry

BerryCoder just released another app that I am sure many people will enjoy.

When you take a picture on your BlackBerry you have to choose then and there what resolution you want to shoot it at.

If you want to send it later at a lower resolution you were out of luck. ShrinkIt comes in to fill that gap

Profile Pic and Status Error in BBM5

Profile Picture and Status Updates Error in Blackberry Messenger + BBM Notifications Error

Kami menerima banyak komplain mengenai error di Profile picture yang tidak tampil dan status tidak terupdate setelah upgrade blackberry messenger ke BBM 5.0.0.55 terbaru padahal BBM ini adalah official release oleh RIM.

Error kedua yang banyak dilaporkan adalah BBM notifications selalu muncul di home page padahal tidak ada BBM message yang baru.

Apakah ini error hanya di BBM versi terbaru ini?

Sebenarnya tidak, karena BerryIndo sudah mengalami problem ini sejak menggunakan BBM v5.0.0.33

Hal ini terjadi karena server RIM terlalu sibuk karena pesatnya pertumbuhan Blackberry diseluruh dunia termasuk Indonesia.

Apalagi pada saat release versi terbaru, semua (jutaan) user blackberry bersamaan download dan instal versi baru. Server RIM harus kerja extra untuk restore contacts. Pastinya akan prioritas restore contacts pin saja dan mungkin profile picture dan status updates ketinggalan.

Yang ketemu error status updates dan profile pictures kebanyakan yang punya contacts diatas 70 contacts pin di BBM.

Sampai hari ini, kami masih menerima pertanyaan dari member yang add pin kami “siapa nih?” Karena nama dan profile pictures BerryIndo tidak muncul di BBM mereka.

Ada lagi member yang menanya “kenapa profile picture / avatar BerryIndo muncul di BBM teman saya tapi tidak muncul di BBM saya?”

Itu dikarenakan temannya ada save contacts BerryIndo ke address book nya yang termasuk profile picture maka akan synchron kepada address book dengan BBM atau memang temannya tidak ada error ini.

Satu satunya solusi untuk mengatasi error ini adalah melakukan PING atau Maintenane Diagnostic Test ke server RIM tapi ini pun tidak terjamin, silakan baca post cara ping dan laporkan hasil anda di sini.

Mengenai BBM Notificatins Error, kami kadang mengalami error ini jika buka BBM message dari folder messages daripada di Blackberry Messenger applications tapi tidak begitu sering. Anda bisa coba reset BBM atau reinstall BBM anda.

Apakah anda mengalami error yang sama? Silakan share dan laporkan disini anda pakai BBM versi apa, BB jenis apa?, OS apa dan punya berapa contacts.

Yahoo Messenger No Pic ID Error

Yahoo Messenger Error!

Tidak tampil foto, picture dan tidak bisa add profile Picture! Log in dan Password Invalid!

Sudah seminggu, kami menerima banyak pertanyaan kenapa Yahoo Messenger tidak muncul profile picture nya. Ada yang ketemu masalah log in dan password invalid!

Setelah BerryIndo.com cari solusi dan search dimana mana online, kami ketemu memang ini bukan terjadi kepada Blackberry anda saja, banyak Blackberry – Yahoo Messenger users juga ketemu masalah ini

Jadi sebelum anda, reinstall berkali kali atau ada yang sampai wipe seluruh OS dan install kembali, tunggu update saja dari Yahoo Messenger untuk Blackberry

Ok I have this app like everyone else my picture is not showing..I half to go mobile for my contacts to view picture..I want my old IM back this is crazy!!

Worked for a week or so now it says invalid ID or password

YAHOO IM worked just fine on my STORM until I downloaded the new S/W…now..keeps telling my login and p/w are invalid…I’m soo getting over the Blackberry thing…the DROID is looking pretty GOOD!

I downloaded this YM twice & still give me the very same msg “Connection Error : Pls ensure device time is correct”. Can’t even login. BB better sort out this quick or else this won’t go down well with reputation.

Sampai kapan bisa fix bugs ini? Apa solusinya? Kami juga belum dapat informasi dari Yahoo, hanya bisa tunggu update dari Yahoo! dan yang pasti foto YM akan secara otomatis tampil deh seperti halnya dengan Blackberry Messenger V5. Jadi hanya bisa sabar…

Kalau memang teman anda ketemu masalah ini, forwardlah post ini kepada mereka biar mereka tidak habis waktu cari solusinya.

BBM Avatar Back Up Problem

BBM Avatar Back Up Problem

Berikut dikutip dari CB, memang server RIM lagi trouble, akibatnya Avatar BBM Blackberry Messenger tidak Sync, dan remote backup/restore tidak berkerja.

Ada juga yang komplain avatar picture Yahoo Messenger tidak tampil

After reviewing the forums for the past few days, I noticed a lot of users were having issues with their BlackBerry Messenger which was also noticed by DangermouseUK.

The issues seen in this case is that avatars and remote back up of BlackBerry Messenger contacts is not correctly working.

This current situation appears to be affecting not only BIS users but BES users as well.

From the information gathered, it seems the issues started as of Friday and have not been corrected since then. Not only are BIS and BES users not able to sync avatars you can’t register a new email, restore a backup remotely, and even restoring using a backup file from the PC using device switch or the feature built into messenger, will NOT initiate a PIN switch on RIM servers.

This is a confirmed issue and from the information, it does appear that the servers designed to support these features are not responding to the requests to perform the actions mentioned.

So I ask you all, anyone having issues with remote back up of BBM contacts?

Maybe you have some people on your list who once had avatars and now, do not?

Tips Send Picture BBM 5

Tips mengirim foto kesesama pemakai Blackberry Messenger V 5/ BBM5 gak pake lama.

Ukuran besar full size bisa diresize jd 20kb-30kb per foto tanpa pecah. Umumnya 400kb.

Caranya pake applikasi capture it.

Biar lebih mudah setelah download pilih option keyboard/screen trus ubah tombol switch samping jadi capture it.

Untuk gunakan app ini, sewaktu mau capture screen image,
tekan tombol ? disamping kiri trackball dan pilih “capture it”.

Setelah klik akan merasa getar yang menunjukan bahwa image sudah di capture dan disave.

Klik lagi tombol ? untuk pilih send / kirim ke teman lewat bbm, email, mms dll.

Kalau lewat photo album yang sudah disave. Pilih view media picture, lalu klik tombol ? untuk capture image dan klik tombol ? lagi untuk pilih send.
